HARMONY WITH NATURE SCHOOL

Our curriculum has a seasonal focus, drawing on traditional karate. Classes include solo forms and partner practices.  The structure of class allows beginning to advanced students to train together.


JUNIORS KARATE

For ages 6 - 12 years old, juniors karate classes and summer camps introduce lessons of mutual respect, personal power, the art of self-defense.


QIGONG

ENERGY PRACTICES FOR HEALTH

Practicing qigong opens the body’s channels and meridians to absorb outside, or universal energy into one’s own body. Qigong exercises makes one more aware of the inner body and self. Regular practice of these forms will help you attain a peacefulness that enables you to maintain a healthy body and mind.


Women's self-defense & empowerment

ASSERTIVENESS, CONFRONTATION, SELF-DEFENSE, SUPPORT

In an atmosphere of support, women learn to de-escalate or escape potentially violent situations through boundary assertion skills and physical defenses against various types of physical and sexual assaults. Class format includes discussions, physical training, and information about support services.
